There are 6 060 new cases of coronavirus infection detected during the past 24 hours in Russia, reaching the total number of 47 121. Since the spread of the virus, 361 people died, and 3,446 recovered from COVID-19.

Cases with COVID-19 got reported in 76 regions of the country, having the largest number in Moscow.

According to the Moscow government, work is underway to set up coronavirus treatment wards in more hospitals. In addition, the construction of a new infectious disease hospital with 500 beds is expected to be completed in Moscow’s Voronovskoye settlement shortly.
