As part of the general quarantine declared today, the movement of public transport throughout the whole territory of Georgia will be suspended at 08:00 tomorrow morning.

According to the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Maya Tskitishvili, the state will ensure the transportation of people who are employed in the medical field or other strategic facilities.

“From 08:00 am to 21:00 pm private cars and taxis are allowed to move in the streets. During this period, the movement of special transport that will serve employees of certain fields is also allowed. Only the vehicles with special permits will be allowed to operate from 21:00 until 06:00. Under the universal quarantine, people will be banned from traveling by any public transport, including the subway”, - concluded the Minister.
