Four family members of woman infected in Marneuli tested positive for COVID-19

Four family members of woman infected in Marneuli tested positive for COVID-19. Such a statement made today Paata Imnadze, the deputy director of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health.

As he said after today’s Inter-Agency Coordination Council meeting, new cases of coronavirus infection are not new clusters, which is very important.

“These new cases are four people from Marneuli, the family members of the woman who is currently at the hospital in Tbilisi. Other patients and staff in Marneuli were also examined, who tested negative. Many people got tested, and so far, all of their results are negative”, - concluded Paata Imnadze.
