The streets of Tbilisi will be disinfected at night

The Mayor of Tbilisi Kakha Kaladze announced today that a disinfection programme has been launched to sterilise all the streets in Tbilisi, as part of precautionary measures against the coronavirus pandemic.

Disinfection works will be conducted on the streets where metro stops and subways are located. The project will continue for several days, starting today. Then Tbilisi City Hall will devise individual schedules to continue sterilizing concrete areas.

The USAID will provide special disinfecting equipment that has a proven record of being most efficient for fighting similar pandemics.
