According to the decision of the Government of Georgia, strict quarantine restrictions imposed within the framework of the state of emergency in Marneuli and Bolnisi due to the high epidemiological risk, will be enforced by the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in a round-the-clock regime.

On the main roads of the mentioned regions, 12 police checkpoints have been arranged, enabling officers to control the traffic movement. Secondary roads are also being controlled by the mobile checkpoints assigned. Permanent control is conducted by means of the mobile groups as well.

Strict quarantine restrictions also include the entry and exit limitations of citizens in Marneuli and Bolnisi municipalities. Police along with the military forces will control the entrance and exit ways from specially checkpoints arranged.
