China will send Georgia 1 000 new tests for COVID-19 as a present - the tests will have been delivered in Georgia by the beginning of the next week. Such a statement made today Ekaterine Tikaradze, the Health Minister of Georgia.

According to her, all patients suspected to have the virus will be diagnosed through a speedily manner. Negotiations about provision of 200 000 tests for coronavirus are ongoing with South Korea.

Tikaradze also said that the Central Republican Hospital will be able to receive patients while being in emergency mode.

“An Emergency Center would start functioning at the hospital so that the citizens who need medical help can apply to the Emergency Center. At the same time, those who think they have symptoms associated with coronavirus should contact the hotline”, – concluded the Minister.
