All trading facilities except for grocery stores, pharmacy shops, banks, posts and petrol stations will be closed. Such a statement the Prime Minister of Georgia made after the National Security Council session.
According to Giorgi Gakharia, several decisions were made at the session to tighten measures against the spread of coronavirus.
“All trading facilities except for grocery stores, pharmacy shops, banks, posts and petrol stations will be closed in order to observe social distance and restrict mobility. This is a necessary step for the health of our citizens. This is necessary to halt domestic spreading of the virus”, - said the Head of the Government.
He once again urged the population to refrain from going out and to stay at home, if there is no urgent need.
“I want to urge each of our citizens to stay at home. This especially concerns people over 70. The Georgian Post will provide them with all the essential services. I want to wish you health once again, I want to tell you that we will respond to this challenge globally, together with our partners and friends”, - concluded the Prime Minister.
