At this stage, additional 1 000 to 1 500 beds are being prepared for patients infected with coronavirus. Such a statement made the Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze.

“500 beds are available today. In case of a certain increase, hospitals of the second group will be prepared, where we have a reserve of 700 beds. Then we have the third level hospitals with the resource of additional 700-800 beds.

We are also preparing extra beds, the number of which will range from 1 000 to 1 500”, - said the Minister.
