Police detained five persons for illegal purchase, keeping and selling drugs. The detainees are as follows: N.K. (date of birth - 1972), Sh.I. (1975) several times convicted in past M.K. (1980), Z.B. (1989) and G.T. (1985).

Committed crime envisages from 20 to lifetime imprisonment.

As a result of the search activities police seized various types of drug substances: 10 packages of “heroin” and 33 pills of methadone drug.

Based on the relevant decision of the court, law enforcers have several times covertly purchased drugs from the mentioned persons which has also been covertly depicted on camera. Police has also seized heroin as evidence sold by the detainees.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and selling drugs in especially large quantities, article 260, I, III, IV and VI parts envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
