Georgia imposes restrictions for citizens arriving from Germany, France, Austria and Spain. Such a statement made the Prime Minister of the country at today’s cabinet meeting.
As Giorgi Gakharia said, all Georgian citizens returning from these countries will undergo a 2-week quarantine regime. As for foreign nationals, they should provide a PCR certificate of coronavirus at the border or undergo a quarantine regime.
“The regime of crossing the Georgian border, is tightening both for our and foreign citizens. As you know we have already imposed some restrictions for the citizens returning from China, South Korea and Italy, this regime will also apply to the citizens arriving from Germany, France, Austria and Spain, which means that all Georgian citizens returning to Georgia will undergo a 14-day quarantine regime while foreign citizens will have to submit PCR certificate of coronavirus, otherwise they will undergo the 14-day quarantine.
Each citizen of Georgia is recommended to refrain from traveling to foreign countries for several months. This is a very important recommendation and we hope that our citizens will take this recommendation into account”, - concluded the Head of the Government.
