Two men and a pet Labrador were found uninjured after their small plane crashed into a tree at the Destin Airport in Florida. Okaloosa County deputies say the plane crashed after possible engine issues.
The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board have been notified and will handle the investigation.
The two people on the plane have been identified as 47-year old Jason Dougherty of Garden City and 22-year old Caleb Dougherty of Salina. Both of them and their pet Labrador somehow survived without a scratch after just missing a home and landing in a tree. They were flying from Kansas to Florida for a spring break trip.
