The Interagency Coordination Council on prevention of novel coronavirus held yet another sitting this afternoon.
The Prime Minister of Georgia, who heads the council, inquired about the latest information on coronavirus cases worldwide and the health condition of Georgian citizens infected with the virus.
According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Davit Zalkaliani, Georgian Embassy in Italy will organize bringing of Georgian citizens to Rome after which they would be transported by a plane to Georgia.
Natia Turnava, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development said that the airplane had already been sent to Rome.
The Interagency Coordination Council also warns citizens to follow the rules of self-isolation.
“Citizens who have been instructed by health care authorities to self-isolate during quarantine should show high social responsibility and, following the recommendation of the Ministry of Health, obey the rules of self-isolation and do not put in danger their family members and the community as a whole”, - reads the statement.
