Mamuka Mdinaradze, the leader of the parliamentary majority, is meeting with majoritarian MPs in his office. They are expected to discuss details of the system agreed with the opposition. The so-called rebel majoritarians are also at the meeting.

Irakli Kobakhidze, the former Chairperson of the Parliament, made first comment. According to him, here will be 30 constituencies across the country.

“There is an outline already worked out. We are thinking about seven constituencies in Tbilisi, as for other cities, Batumi, Kutaisi, Rustavi, there will be one majoritarian constituency for each. In the case of Rustavi, it may be necessary to add several villages nearby. In the case of Poti, an additional two municipalities will be necessary, and Zugdidi municipality will have one independent majoritarian district”, - explained Irakli Kobakhidze.
