Two coronavirus-infected patients are placed in the special unit of the Infectious Hospital.

According to Marina Ezugbaia, the medical director of Tbilisi Infectious Hospital, 14 infected patients are currently being treated at the infectious hospital and 1 is in the Sachkhere Medical Center.

As Ezugbaia said, one of them travelled from Spain and likely infected there but as this patient has contact with Italians, it’s difficult to say the exact source of the virus transmission.

19 individuals were tested, two of them confirmed the new coronavirus. One research is still ongoing.

Citizens who have not been exposed to the virus are moving to the quarantine area. Another 14 patients will have to undergo the test today.
