The Government of Georgia suspended direct flights with Italy. Such a statement was made during the meeting of the Interagency Coordination Council against Coronavirus.

According to the new recommendations aiming to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus in Georgia, the Government calls on our citizens to refrain from traveling to countries with epidemic risk identified by the World Health Organization (China, South Korea, Italy, Iran).

It was noted at today’s meeting that there are no reasons to panic and the government fully controls the process.
