According to Gia Zhorzholiani, the chairman of the political union “Social Democrats for the Development of Georgia”, they will stop participating in the discussion about the electoral system and will move to an active election campaign.

“The Georgian Dream should initiate by March 9, regardless of whether an agreement is reached. Even in the absence of broad consensus, the initiative at 110/40, a 40% barrier to government formation, will significantly improve the electoral environment. We, the Social Democrats, are going to stop participating in the discussion about the electoral system and move to an active election campaign”, - said Gia Zhorzholiani.
