The EU Ambassador today again called on the opposition and the authorities to sit down and continue the dialogue. According to Carl Hartzell, there is a possibility of agreement between the government and the opposition.
“There are different scenarios of how things will develop. Nothing is guaranteed, but if the deal is made, it will be a very useful for the country. This success will be the sigh for the international community that despite the difficulties changes are underway in Georgia”, - said the Ambassador.
In a response to the question on the EU’s move if the deal will not succeed, Hartzell said that “life goes on, it’s too early to talk about it”: “In the first place, we have to see the outcome of this process. Life goes on. It is an election year, so we are watching the developments in detail”.
