The Ministry of Internal Affairs has destructed drugs seized as evidence at various stages of investigation of 765 criminal cases. The value of the destructed drugs at the so called “black market” is approximately 6.5 million Gel.

As a result of investigative activities held across the country, the MIA destructed the following drugs seized from illegal circulation, in particular: 291 kg. and 340 gr. of cannabis, 18 kg. and 364 gr. of “Marijuana”, 290 gr. of “Heroin”, 981 pills of “Subutex”, 630 pills of “Codeine”, 448 pills and 5,46gr of “MDMA”,262 capsules and 25 gr. of “Pregabalin”, 218 pills and 16 gr. of “Tramadol”, 133 pills of “Amphetamine”, 5 ampules of "Morphine hydrochloride, 53 gr. of “Methadone”, 4,5 gr. of “Morphine” and 36 gr. of semi-processed cannabis.

The mentioned drugs have been destructed in a special incinerator, in accordance with the existing environmental standards.
