Police detained B.Tch. (date of birth - 1981) in Tbilisi for theft. Committed crime envisages from 3 to 7 years of imprisonment. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.

Investigation established that detainee stole moped parked on Maksim Gorki Street and fled from the crime scene.

As a result of the immediate search and investigative activities law enforcers detained B.Tc. several times after the crime took place. Police seized the stolen moped as evidence.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of theft with a substantial damage, article 177, II part, sup-paragraph “A” and part III of the same article, sub-paragraph “D” envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
